Georgia Insurance Group is reviewing its accident insurance policy after the fatal accident of a driver on the Georgia Freeway.
The Georgia Department of Transportation said the accident was caught on camera on Friday night and released the video for the first time on Saturday.
Georgia Highway Patrol Trooper Scott Harkins said the video showed a motorist in a truck pulling into a ditch on Interstate 95 northbound heading northbound toward Atlanta.
The driver of the truck was ejected and died.
Harkins told ABC News he was able to identify the driver of that truck by the red light on the highway.
The truck was heading westbound on I-95 at that time.
He said it was the driver’s truck.
A preliminary autopsy found that the driver was killed in the accident, and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
Georgia is an owner of Georgia Insurance Group.
The Georgia Insurance Association did not immediately return a request for comment on Saturday evening.
